BA (Hons) Criminology and Law
Do you want to work in the fields of law or criminology, but you feel like you need a bit more preparation and assistance? With the criminology and law degree with foundation year, you'll acquire the skills and self-assurance required to be successful in degree-level studies. Following your foundational year, you'll move on to undergraduate study and continue to strengthen and expand your talents as you pursue everything from legal studies to the psychological and social facets of criminology.

Course Overview
You don't necessarily need to have a certain vocation in mind to enroll in the criminology and law undergraduate program, though. All aspects of legal studies will be covered, including the connection between crime, society, and the law as well as the political, psychological, and social facets of criminology and crime prevention.
The course's multidisciplinary approach will also motivate you to recognize the scholarly and professional links between the domains of criminology and law. As you move through the course, you'll soon begin to have a better sense of which professional path you want to concentrate on.

Standard entry:
● Passes at grade C (grade 4) or above in three subjects at GCSE level OR 45 credits at Level 2 or equivalent – if your qualifications are older than 3 years we would also ask to see a professional CV.

Non-standard entry:
● All applicants can apply based on their work experience - 12 months of work experience is required. Consequently, academic qualifications/diploma is not required.
● To sum up, you don’t need any qualifications to be accepted at the university or college. You just need to pass English Test - Duolingo.

● All applicants must pass Duolingo English Test. You don’t need to pay for English Test - we provide you with a free voucher.
● All applicants must score an overall of 105 points on the Duolingo English Test to be accepted.

Funding for your studies
All of the students will receive Student Finance which means that you don't need to pay anything.
Tuition Fee Loans
Your tuition fees are paid using a tuition fee loan. This is given to your University or College directly. Only once you have completed your study and are making at least £26,575 per year do loan repayments begin. Students who study full- or part-time may apply
Maintenance Loan is NOT eligible for studying ONLINE.
